Hydrazones

Hydrazones are anticancer compounds that have demonstrated potent antitumor effects in preclinical studies.

Q. What are hydrazones and how do they work?

A: Hydrazones are anticancer compounds that have demonstrated antitumor activity in preclinical studies. The mechanism of action for these compounds has yet to be identified but appears to act on some of the cell-cycle related kinases. In September 2005, we entered into an exclusive license for these compounds. We are currently evaluating and optimizing these compounds in preclinical studies.

Q. What is the status of hydrazone product development?

A: Hydrazones are being evaluated in preclinical studies.
